Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a Biotechnology Research company who is hiring a Senior Software Engineer. This is a direct-hire opportunity, offering a competitive salary working in a hybrid capacity with an office located in Durham. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Java and Angular technologies and is able to work in an agile development team, building and managing enterprise level software applications
The company focuses on the development of ground-breaking technology in the cancer research and treatment space. In this role, they are looking for someone to apply system analysis to solve problems, including determining software and system functional and technical specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement client portal and LIMS for the department. Manage system support of validated LIMS and other associated software for Pharma Division.
- Solid professional experience in Internet/Intranet development, Java programming (J2EE), POJO, EJB, JDBC, OOA, OOD, and OOP.
- Must have 7+ years of experience working with the Java stack and java framework. Developing front-end website architecture, design user interactions on web pages and developing back-end website applications
- Build Deployment and Server Configuration
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical test cases for thorough coverage of features
- Analyze complex business needs presented by the user community and recommend technical IT solutions
- Develop / enhance IT operational standards, best practices and guidelines for increased systems reliability and application efficiency
- Develop and maintain LIMS and client portal application and working closely with testing teams
- Participate in ongoing development, patching and updating of released products through use of Agile process
- Managing continuous build and deploy processes into various environments
- Design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications
- Ensuring testable, scalable and efficient code is delivered
