Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Desktop Support Engineer to join a local health services company. This position will consist of supporting Windows 10, MS Office, and PC/laptop hardware.  This is a 3 month contract, remote opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial configuration of installation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Install, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots workstations, peripherals, and software.
  • Meet or exceed all stated Service Level Agreements.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac), and across a wide range of software applications.
  • Creates and maintains workstation deployment images.
  • Creates, modifies, and deletes network, application, and email accounts.
  • Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop hardware and software.
  • Reports project status and deliver documentation to ISS Manager.
  • Interfaces successfully with internal customers and colleagues.
  • Works with the Systems Administrator to automatically deploy software, and monitor assets.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of desktop support experience desired
  • Understanding of PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 workstation Operating Systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware such as laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and peripherals
