Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Specialist for our client in Raleigh. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with solid benefits. This position reports into the Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up new customers and maintaining the customer card for accuracy (typically about 150 new customers a month)
- Entering Accounts Payable invoices bimonthly (average is 25 per check run)
- Running monthly reports as needed for sales group, CEO and Product Manager
- Filing monthly and quarterly informational reports with various states
- Reconciling bank account
- Working with Accounts Receivable accountant on sending out past due invoices as time allows
- Posting transactions in our Sale Pad system daily
- Monitoring the orders in our webstore to make sure they are processed and posted
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Min of Associate’s Degree preferred
- 1-2 years general accounting experience (AP, AR) required
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Comfortable with MS Office
