Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an AP/Purchasing Administrator for a well established Construction Company in Morrisville. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with solid benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Code such items as invoices, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
• Handle all vendors correspondence via phone or email.
• Attach corresponding purchase orders to incoming invoices with all supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
• Enter and Upload invoices into Accounting Software.
• Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
• Assist with monthly status reports, and monthly closings.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents and records.
• Review, Monitor and control the execution of all Purchase Orders and Subcontracts
• Work with PMs and Superintendents to identify repetitive misc. material and facilitate vendor pricing based on total quantity
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price
• Facilitate resolution of material issues with vendors
• Contacts subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing
• Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items
• Authorizes payment for subcontractors by reconciliation and forwarding to Accounts Payable
• Reconcile and process all rental invoices
• Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 2 years or more of previous A/P, and Purchasing or Accounting related experience
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent data entry skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
