Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Assistant for our client in Cary, NC.  This is an immediate Temp-Hire opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  • Complete, submit, track and document all waiver requests.  Resolve any issues restricting waivers from being issued
  • Mail/email monthly statements and requested invoice copies
  • Work with PM’s and Project Accountants to collect miscellaneous billings over 45 days
  • Apply payments daily
  • Obtain, track and document Certificates of Insurance for General Contractors
  • Secure lien agents and project statements for projects requiring them. Files all notice to Lien Agents.
  • Assist with cash spreadsheet and cash sales
  • Run credit cards for customers as needed
  • Perform monthly credit card reconciliation
  • Miscellaneous billing

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Thorough knowledge of general accounting and collections processes
  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills required
  • Attention to detail and deadlines necessary
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task
  • Notary is a big plus
