Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager for a growing Manufacturing Company in Clayton. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and a newly created role.
Responsibilities:
- Implement accounting policies & procedures to ensure timely & accurate financial reports & strong internal controls
- Prepare monthly closing and ensure timely & accurate closing results
- Prepare consolidated financial statements ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely analysis of results
- Support annual budget process including departmental budget reviews, prepare forecasts & analyze performance compared against budgets & forecasts
- Evaluate internal control and make recommendation on improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of accounting experience required
- Ability to solve complex problems & drive continuous improvement in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Drive for results and strong sense of urgency
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of management across the company
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
