Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a Global Industrial Company in Cary, NC who is looking to hire a Manufacturing Accountant to join their team. This is a full time opportunity with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Review and update cost estimates as required at proposal and contract stages
- Critical review of actual Project cost and support Project Managers with deviation analysis during the project execution phase
- Project cost variance analysis and reporting
- Participation in the monthly and yearly closings
- Assist CFO in yearly Budget planning and monthly forecasts
- Prepare Productivity reports for Manufacturing and Engineering functions
- Support cost center responsible with cost center reports and expense analyses
- Target-Actual comparisons as well as special reports and analyses
- Perform adhoc analysis for management as requested
- Inventory management
- Factory budget to include definition of the hourly rates and overhead rates
- Monthly actual reporting for the factory management
- Weekly and monthly forecasts for workload and result
- Defining, implementing and tracking of efficiency measures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
- 3-4+ years of experience in a similar function in an industrial/manufacturing company
- Strong working knowledge in MS Office applications
- Sound SAP knowledge (FI/CO)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret bill of materials.
- Ability to understand and explain commercial correlations
- Proven ability to successfully handle multiple, broad, complex and time sensitive tasks
- Attention to detail; quick response to customers’ requests (internal & external, strong quality mindset
- Accountability; working with the right sense of responsibility & urgency and passion; can-do attitude
- Flexibility and resilience
- Good communication skills at all levels of the hierarchy
