Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for an Accounting Clerk to join a leading construction team in Raleigh. This is a Direct Hire opportunity! The Accounting Clerk role includes various duties in the Accounting department primarily related to managing the checkbook and subcontractor payments/compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain checkbook and send out daily cash summary
- Manage petty cash account
- Prepare same-day checks/wires/ACHs
- Record deposits/make online deposits
- Subcontractor payment applications
- Ensure timely subcontractor certified payroll
- Ensure timely OCIP/CCIP enrollment & monthly reporting
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required and Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Microsoft Office proficient and skilled in Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced organization and attention-to-detail skills
- A positive team player with high energy and a “Can Do” attitude
- Ability to work quickly under pressure and possesses high-level multi-tasking skills
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
