Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing pharmaceutical company in the Durham area who is hiring a Scientist to work in their Transdermal R&D department. This is a direct hire opportunity working 8am-5pm Monday
Responsibilities:
- Scientist will design formulation and process development
- Scientist will execute transdermal and oral film drug product development strategies
- Scientist will be involved with formulation development, process development and container/closure system
- Scientist will support GLP/GMP, batch record review, etc.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have experience in transdermal product development in a laboratory setting
- Candidates must have hands on experience in formulation development for topical/transdermal drug delivery
- Candidates must have product development experience for transdermal drug delivery systems
- Candidates with hands on experience in vitro drug release studies using artificial membranes a plus
- Candidates must have a BS degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 3+ years experience OR a MS degree with 2+ years experience
