Accentuate Staffing is assisting a fast growing Start-Up Company in Chapel Hill, NC who is looking to hire another Financial Implementation/Project Manager to their team.
Responsibilities:
Generally, as narrow Subject Matter Expert (SME) contribute to implementation projects at the direction of Senior Implementation Managers.
More specifically:
- Participate and prepare deliverables for needs and gap analyses based on review of client issues, requirements, current pain points.
- Platform Implementation Activities to include participation and contribution for the following:
- Discovery sessions with client and internal stakeholders
- Define configuration options to meet accounting, operations and reporting needs
- Define approach to user reporting hierarchies
- Define approach for custom user work flows
- Conduct End-user training
- Recommend custom reports based on client needs using advanced data analysis skills
- Implement interfaces to third party systems using data mapping skills
- Oversee client unit/integration/acceptance testing
- Assist in new features specification and functional enhancements to the Platform
- Ability and willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per month
Requirements:
- Finance, Accounting degree or CPA
- 1-2+ years implementing portfolio management and/or investment accounting systems
- Basic knowledge in:
- Common marketable securities (stock, bonds, mutual funds, options) and Illiquid fund investments
- Investment and accounting reports design
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Project consultant for 5-15 person internal/client teams of material size and duration
- User requirements definition and formal report preparation
- Application testing
- User training
- Issues resolution
- Strong math and logic skills
- Exceptional skills in MS Excel – pivot table, vlookup, financial formulas, table/query functions
- Strong record of academic achievement and clear demonstration of leadership in a work environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships
- Ability to adapt and prioritize changing project priorities, tasks and timelines
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, as well as under pressure of deadlines
- Rigorous attention to detail
