Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager for a fast growing Start-up Company in Cary, NC.  This is a Direct Hire opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting functions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable includes coding, input, submitting payment proposals, payment collection and cash receipts, and reconciling related ledger accounts. Monitoring of cash flows, forecasting and AR management.
  • Managing accounting transactions related to employee T&E including coding, collection and reconciliation of Corporate AMEX cards, AMEX Travel Card and ExpenseWire transactions. Manage T&E related to customer billable transactions.
  • Timely analyses and entry of monthly general accounting GL entries, including fixed asset management, CAPEX, prepaids, commissions, deferred revenue, inventory management and COGS, bank transactions, as well as monthly reconciliation of several GL accounts.
  • Oversee accounting for UK operations, includes consolidating all accounting transactions in the local ledger, and coordinating the monthly consolidation of the UK ledger.  Responsible for intercompany transaction recordation, ledger reconciliations, and financial statements and analysis.
  • Responsible for internal and external financial reporting, preparation of financial statements, and analysis.
  • Assist in the annual budget and periodic reforecasting process.
  • Maintain internal controls and procedures.  Auditing the organization to ensure compliance with these procedures.  Ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or an equivalent discipline.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of accounting experience.  Diverse range of accounting experience desired.
  • Intercompany accounting and consolidations experience a plus
  • Strong Excel skills required to include Pivot Tables & Vlookups
  • ERP systems experience
  • Strong attention to detail as this is a high transaction business.
  • Strong leadership skills required; the ability to lead others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, daily interaction with Senior Leadership Team.
  • Prior experience in a startup or small company environment
